Deepen your exploration of Flow: Heart, Root, Water, the site-specific installation
at Redux Contemporary Art Gallery, created by Mikki Blackman and Deborah
Donovan Rice. 

In the spirit of free play and deep attunement to the natural rhythms that
shape our connection to earth, cosmos and each other, we embody (in-body) the
elements of water, earth, and fire, play with polarities, and co-create an experience
that deeply nourishes our hunger for authentic expression.  Arriving on the
threshold, not knowing, we pause in the landscape of Flow and bear witness to what
arises within and between.

  Improvisational and participatory inquiry may include word play (bring a
journal or sketchbook if you like), humming, sounding, voicing, toning, tapping,
attuning, and primordial movement and stillness, inspired by embryonic shapes and
cosmological processes.  

Quantum Flow, orchestrated by Pepper Sarnoff, and co-created by the love of
friends and teachers, the words of poets, the perspective of scientists, the joy of
celebrants, and the experiences of the living body, in a changing world in which
everything is happening all at once.

What to “bring” and what to know about Quantum Flow: Wear comfortable clothes
for movement and exploration. Trust your own body’s wisdom for what it needs.
Nothing is required and everything is possible in a quantum inquiry. A journal or
sketchbook may help you tune in to your observations. Organic movement,
stillness, or spontaneous expression are discovered by each person in response to
the exploration and evolves into a new form. Mindful relationship with the
installation and with self and other provides the navigational system and allows our
creative process to unfold and flow in a spirit of good will, humor, and fun. For those
unfamiliar with this type of exploration, rely on your curiosity and become a part of
creating the Quantum Flow.
