ABOUT REDUX ART RETREAT AT WILDACRES

Redux Art Retreat is a  week-long opportunity to retreat to your inner artist as a whole- exercise and nourish your creative spirit inside and out with a week of artistic practice, sharing, networking, and much needed time to connect with fellow artists and your inner artist, and disconnect from daily distractions and stressors of everyday life!

The retreat is hosted by Redux Contemporary Art Center and takes places at the Wildacres Conference Center right off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Little Switzerland, North Carolina. There are three sessions throughout the year, two weeks in July and one week in October. Participants spend a week eating, sleeping, soaking up nature, and making art on the conference center campus. You will choose to be a part of one visual arts workshop taught by a professional teaching artist all week long. Workshops range from ceramics to plein air painting to metal smithing and much more! So come join us this year at one, two, or all three of our retreat sessions. Bring yourself or friend (or two) and come reconnect to both art and nature with like-minded individuals!
