Redux Contemporary Art Center and The Gibbes Museum’s Society 1858 invites you to come behind-the-scenes and into the studio to explore the medium of printmaking. Gibbes Executive Director Angela Mack and Director of Collections Zinnia Willits will share works by Piranesi, Whistler, and Martin Lewis in the Museum’s Collection Storage. Participants will then travel to Redux Contemporary Art Center for a demonstration of etching techniques by artists Hirona Matsuda and Jill Hooper. Enjoy a glass of wine and light bites by Gilligan’s at Redux following the demo.
