This is a two-day workshop in monoprinting, no experience necessary! Emphasis will be placed on the correct use of the press, ink consistency, paper registration, proper cleanup. Experimentation is encouraged and the instructor will guide and assist with the printing.

In this intensive 2-day workshop, teaching artist Mary Walker will demonstrate the monoprint process, then assist students in creating their own prints, from start to finish! Using stencils and textures, students will make multiple prints as they learn and explore the monoprinting process. This is a fun, explorative and experimental process, and a great new way to experience making art!

All materials provided. *Students may bring a lunch, or a short lunch break will be provided for students to find lunch nearby.
