Education Programs

Integral to the Redux mission is to educate our community about current practices in art through both an academic and hands on approach. Redux offers year-round art classes and workshops to the public for both kids and adults. Over 100 classes and workshops are available throughout the year covering a variety of topics both traditional and non-traditional. We have a class for everyone, whether you are a beginner or more advanced artist looking to broaden and enhance your talents.

Our classes are affordable, fun, challenging and taught by talented local qualified instructors. Courses include painting, photography, drawing, printmaking, art history and much more. All courses are timed to fit the schedules of working people and are taught by working professional artists. Through our classes, workshops and studio space, we provide the guidance and resources you need to bring your creativity and passion to life.

Every summer, Redux partners with the Charleston County School District to offer a comprehensive continuum of creative studies that empower young people to explore the diverse nature of contemporary visual art. This program strives to prepare high school students for future creative careers by giving them the tools to engage, interact and contribute to the community around them. Learn More >

Redux offers three unique summer art camps for children ages 7 - 12 who are ready to learn more about the visual arts. Learn More >

In addition to our paid education classes, Redux holds outreach classes for local after-school groups such as the YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, YO Art!, and Girl Scouts. These classes are offered year round at no cost to the students. Learn More >
