Carson Carroll

MEDIUM: Collage

Carson Carroll is an interdisciplinary artist based in the Carolinas. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2019 from Winthrop University. She is currently creating work that focuses on environmental and social issues such as; human consumption, throw-away culture, and plastic pollution. She is exploring methods to make interactive pieces that will connect viewers to her message, in hopes that her work will plant a seed of change in viewers’ minds. She uses a variety of mediums including found objects, plastic, and digital and alternative photography, to exhibit themes of environmental awareness and explore themes of transition, and memory in her non-environmental-based work.
