BEYOND THE LENS with Teaching Artist @dylanbeckman lets teens step into the magical world of photography WITHOUT fancy-schmancy cameras!
Your kids, grandkids, nieces or nephews will explore the roots of photography through experimental techniques like building their own pinhole camera, stepping inside a life-sized camera obscura, and creating one-of-a-kind prints using the power of sunlight. They’ll get their hands messy with inventive materials and discover how photography works from the inside out–Think science, art, and a little bit of magic!
At the end of the week, you’re favorite photographer will have a collection of original works and a deeper understanding of how to capture the world without ever picking up a digital device.

Please come enjoy warm beverages and good cheer at our annual Holiday Market. This event also serves as our final “Open Studios” of the year. Some artists will be creating ornaments and holiday-themed pieces alongside larger pieces of original works, which make wonderful gifts.
