Light Changes Everything

This exhibition is a timeline of light-not only in technique but in feeling and transformation. It reflects my evolution as an artist and a woman, moving through questions of identity, presence, and perception.

Uniting two distinct bodies of work-hand-tinted photographs made with traditional infrared film, and early digital compositions- Light Changes Everything explores how different forms of light shape emotional and visual experience.

One series is soft and intimate with ethereal figures submerged underwater, suspended in memory and emotion.

The other is vibrant and confrontational-mannequin faces layered with graffiti, reflecting themes of identity, performance, and modern chaos.

Together, these bodies of work live at the edge of mings: between past and present, body and environment, concealment and expression. Light-whether chemical or pixel-based-became more than a tool. It became a mirror, a breakthrough, and a path forward.

Light changed how I see.

It changed how I create.

It changed how I move through the world.

And it continues to change me still.
