Lauren Ronald – Light & Sound

Lauren Ronald is a Baltimore, MD-born artist currently based in Charleston, SC. She graduated from the College of Charleston with a BFA in Studio Arts and has attended academic programs such as the Oxbow School of Art. In her work, she uses a chladni plate to produce standing wave patterns, which are then abstracted into paintings and sculptures. She references parts of the patterns in the different forms and shapes, combining these hertz forms with an intuitive approach to working abstractly.
