About the Laura Harden

Laura Harden is a fine art photographer who worked and resided in her home state of Arkansas before coming to Redux.  A graduate from the MFA photography program at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. Laura began this project as her thesis over ten years ago and since then her work has been exhibited nationally and won several awards, including the Arthur Griffin Legacy Award in 2003. Laura lives in San Francisco and works as the Director of the San Francisco Studio School. She has also been involved with the Academy of Art University, where she was an instructor and coordinator for the MFA photography department. Laura began working in still life and was commissioned for her black and white technology series. Her work can be seen atwww.lauraharden.com.

About Lolly Koon

Lolly Koon was born in 1981 in Charleston, SC. During highschool she studied photography at the Gibbes Art studios. She also traveled with humanitarian aid to Romania where she took documentary photographs for the group as well as for accompanying doctors.  Koon attended college at Rochester Institute of Technology where she studied Fine Art and Advertising Photography. In the spring of 2002, Lolly traveled to Cuba to embark on a new photography project. Also in 2002, Lolly recieved a scholarship from FujiFilm in exchange for a portfolio of her images. The summer before her senior year in college, she lived in the British Virgin Islands on a sail boat and and worked as a photographer for a sailing company brochure. She graduated with honors in May 2003 with a BFA in Professional Photographic Illustration and a minor in Literature. Later that summer, Koon took a position as a photographer at a commercial photography studio in Portland, ME and continued to shoot her own personal work there.
