My art during the past few years has evolved into explorations of abstraction and mixed media work. Having found so much freedom of expression in abstraction, I have continued to try to balance intention with intuition. “Mixing It Up” represents my evolving process that has emerged using paint, drawing materials, and collage for expression. During the Pandemic, I enjoyed using materials I could easily find such as junk mail, old workshop studies, newspapers, cardboard, etc.
