Kate graduated from Clemson University in the spring of 2019 where she got a BFA in Visual Arts. She grew up in Charleston and moved back here after college, due to the flourishing art scene. She is inspired by the colors and textures found around the city. She works primarily with acrylic paint on wood panels. Kate’s work tends to be focused on color, pattern, and the balance between abstraction and realism.
