Learn to use this powerful tool to get the most out of your digital photography with editing in Adobe Lightroom! We’ll examine the Library Module and learn to properly import, organize, keyword, and classify images for later retrieval. Later we’ll look at the Develop Module and examine the amazing editing and retouching tools Lightroom offers. From first look to final image, Adobe Lightroom makes everything about digital photography easier and faster. We’ll also discuss the differences between Lightroom and Photoshop and why you may or may not need both. This is a great way for someone just starting out or thinking of purchasing the program to get a hands on look into what it can do for them and their photography. Please note; you will need a laptop computer with Lightroom Classic CC installed on it. The trial version of Lightroom is fine.
This will be an introductory level class for beginning students. Some basic computer handling skills are needed but prior Photoshop experience is not necessary. It is not necessary to own the software for this class. You may download a trial version from Adobe if you are not ready to purchase it.
This class will be taught on Lightroom Classic CC but is appropriate for Lightroom 3 and newer.
Students will need a laptop computer with Adobe Lightroom Classic CC installed. If anyone is unsure about purchasing the software then the trial version is OK. Students will also need a notebook for notes and handouts. Kenny will provide a handout each week for this class.
