Deepen your exploration of the exhibition, FLOW with Heart, Root, Water by Mikki Blackman and Deborah Donavan Rice, with storyteller Christine Castaneda, as she tells the story of Sukey the Mermaid in our main gallery space.
***Christine Castaneda arrived in Charleston as a professional storyteller in the early ’80s and continued telling for 20 years worldwide until teaching ESL internationally lured her away for another 20. She is here to perform a story today at the urging of her dearest friends, Mikki Blackman and Deb Donovan-Rice, who are responsible for this exhibit.***
