Students will be introduced to the printmaking technique of relief printing. They’ll learn the tools and how to utilize materials of relief printing. At the end of this course, students will be able to plan, develop, and print and relief print with and without a press.

Students will create two editions of prints during the course. Students will create a 4”x6 split inverse image on speedy carve for their first set of prints. In addition, students will be given creative liberty to create a second set of 4”x6” print with the same materials for an end of course print exchange.
