Working with nature, students will use various mediums such as pencil, ink, and pastels to learn different drawing techniques like contour and stippling. This class will take kids outside to find flowers, branches, and leaves to create their own arrangements to work from. Students will learn to make their own composition and have full control over the scene they work from. From the studies and drawings, student will learn to translate these into collage and the endless possibilities with materials like paper and glue.
