This 3-week class is great for those who already draw or paint and would like to explore a new medium!

Many people “move on” from black and white drawing to color in pastel or paint without giving any more thought to color pencils beyond their childhood box of crayons. If you already draw or paint, come and find versatility in this neat and convenient color medium by learning these effects and techniques.

Materials will be provided for in-class use, however students will need to have their own supply as well.

Each student should bring their own:

• box of 24 assortment Prismacolor Premiere pencils
• Xacto knife plus sharp extra blades

Redux will provide the following items for in-class use:

• draftsman’s whisk brush
• heavy smooth drawing paper or cold press illustration board 11×14
