If you’re into crafting, 3-dimensional art and design, or maybe just consider something different for Easter than traditional egg dying? Traditional Ukrainian/Eastern European designs and methods (dye & wax resist method like fabric batik) are a creative way to celebrate Spring! With a few eggs, 3-5 colors, and a few hours, you can easily create these uniquely designed eggs of your own!
Word of the Day! A pysanka (Ukrainian: писанка, plural: pysanky) is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist method. The word pysanka comes from the verb pysaty, “to write” or “to in scribe”, as the designs are not painted on, but written (inscribed) with beeswax.
Limited capacity.
