STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, ART, and Math! The integration of these subject areas makes for optimal arts activities with academic connections and benefits!

Each week children will work on projects that engage their creativity while aiding in their education. Children will have fun making and experimenting with hands-on STEAM related activities that use art!

March: Art and Reuse – Children learn about the effects of pollution and single use waste, while giving recycled items a second life through art!

April: Art and Nature, Spring – children explore the bounty of spring in the low country with this seasonal session of our kids camp. Students will learn about native blooming plant life and local creatures all while working on pieces made from and based around found natural objects.

May: art and community: collaborative projects, encouraging children to work together using creativity. Ends with group show!
