AfterSchool Art Camp: Skill Building & Portfolio Prep (grades 6th-12th)

Days: Wednesdays, January 11th – March 1st, 2022

Time: 4:15 – 5:45 pm

Ages: 6th grade – 12th grade

During this 8-week session, students will focus on technical skills to help prepare for upcoming or anticipated applications for visual art-related programs, as well as general portfolio preparation and skill building!  In these 8 weeks, students will explore mixing media and techniques, and tackle projects that test their skills while also engaging their creativity! Students will be encouraged to explore, experiment, question, and engage in critiques in order to advance their artistic skills and passions.

This is an ideal camp for those interested in applying to school or a portfolio application-based program for the 2023-2024 school years. This is a great supplement to private lessons, or private lessons might be a great supplement or follow-up for audition preparation! 

Class size is limited.
Participants are encouraged to bring a sketchbook, and snack if they prefer
