After School Art Camp: Skill Building & Portfolio Prep (ages 10-13) 

Days: Wednesdays, September 8 – October 27, 2021
Time: 4:30-5:30pm

Ages: 10-13 (grades 4th-7th)

During this 8 week session, students will focus on technical skills to help prepare for upcoming application for SOA and any other visual art-related programs, as well as general portfolio preparation and skill building!  In this 8 weeks, students will explore mixing media and techniques, and tackle projects that test their skills while also engaging their creativity! Students will be encouraged to explore, experiment, question, and engage in critiques in order to advance their artistic skills and passions.

This is an ideal camp for those interested in applying to SOA or a similar program for 2022-2023 school years. This is a great supplement to private lessons, or private lessons might be a great supplement or follow-up for audition preparation! 

Class size is limited.
Participants are encouraged to bring a sketchbook, and snack if they prefer!

Masks are required.
