A South Carolina native, Megan grew up in Columbia, SC before going off to college in the upstate. Earning her first two degrees in Education (BSc) and Liberal Arts (MLA) from Winthrop University, Megan then began to pursue her visual art studies. From 2004-2005, she studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City before transferring to the Savannah College of Art & Design in Atlanta, GA where she completed her BFA in Illustration in 2007.
