TRANSIT ANTENNA BIG TENT REVIVAL ART AUCTION

With the help of Redux, an art auction was held to raise money for a trip for Transit Antenna on January, 18, 2008. Also, a portion of the proceeds was given back to Redux to sponsor a visiting artist fellowship.

The auction featured works by Bob Snead, Seth Gadsden, Seth Curcio, Matt Phillips, Josef Kristofoletti and many others.

Featuring DARK MEAT: VOMIT LASERS FAMILY BAND!
-with Lasso, Those Darlings, Mr. Jenkins, Oicho Kabu, Plundershop, U.K. Brogan, Philip White, Nathan Koci, Huspa, Ron Wiltrout, and many more. Individuals were able to spend the night at Redux with Transit Antenna and listen to music ’til dawn.

T.A. LECTURE AND CELEBRATION WORKSHOP
Wednesday, January 16 at 6pm
CofC, Simons Center for the Arts courtyard (outside)

Visitors were able to see the Transit Antenna bus, hear from the crew about their project, and participate in the creation of a celebration! Admission: FREE

Visitors of this event were able to get a first look at the art work being auctioned at the Transit Antenna Big Tent Revival.  Admission: FREE

REDUX FIFTH-YEAR ANNIVERSARY SIDEWALK PARADE
Saturday, January 19 from 2-4pm

Redux celebrated the first ever art parade in Charleston and its Fifth-Year Anniversary on Saturday, January 19, 2008! Costumes and performances were prepared as Redux traipsed the uneven sidewalks creating a brilliant spectacle.

Parade launched and ended at Redux concluding with music and festivities featuring the Garage Cuban Band.
