7th Annual Art Auction

Visitors joined Redux as we celebrated seven years of promoting the production, presentation and education of Contemporary Visual Art at the Annual Art Auction. Over 50 original works by some of the most accomplished artists in the region were available for bidding during this exciting live auction.

Guests enjoyed festive food and fun drinks in the gallery of Charleston Center for Photography as they perused the diverse work available for bidding. A photographer was present in the photo room to capture guests in their fund-raising fashionable attire.

All proceeds helped Redux continue to develop diverse programming, while introducing and educating the public to the contemporary visual arts. Support from the community allows Redux to continue to exhibit artwork by national and international artists, support local artists, and enrich the Charleston community through our adult and youth education programs. As the only arts organization in Charleston providing these much needed opportunities, visitors’ donations to the Redux 2009 Art Auction assisted Redux in maintaining an ambitious schedule of exhibition, outreach and studio programs to accomplish our goals.
