400 years ago in a remote area of what is now known as Charleston, two children were born to an all-knowing native Priestess in the night. Well aware of the consequences of her passionate love affair with the village fool, she cast the children out to grow on their own in the wilderness. She hoped that by her actions, they might never fully develop their powers and use them irrationally. The two wandered for many years, learning from land and animal, all the while noticing their differences from them. Until one day, they came upon a village and learned of their true identities through stories passed down from tribe to tribe. Many did not believe it was truly the two spoke of in legend because they had not yet discovered their true nature. Soon an elderly witch doctor took them in as his own and tried to teach them to harness their powers, with little success. With their newly found lavish lifestyle they fancied themselves celebrities and basked in the sun, drunk off food and hallucinogens, for days on end. One day they heard music in the village, felt an unexplained pull to pick up instruments, and so ignited their journey into this world. They would be called Babylips, and traveled far to return to their origins to bring you their first EP, nineteeninteyching.
