Dane Nester is a graduate of the Yale University School of Art and currently lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland. Throughout 2007 and 2008, Nester ventured into the outside world to construct move-able and contained gardens, collect discarded materials, and reclaim land that has been lost to urban ruin. Abandoned post-industrial sites that only contain traces of human presence are fertile grounds for Nester’s experimentation and documentation.
