Connor Lock

Connor Lock moved to Charleston in 2007 after spending his formative years traveling throughout most of Europe. His professional background is in art and design. In 2015, Lock started SEVEN, a brand building company named after his lucky number. SEVEN travels and works with clients around the world but has a
large client base here in Charleston.

As a creative problem solver with a multitude of skills, SEVEN is more than a graphic design company. Large scale murals, installation art, quirky illustrations, brand identity, and unique design solutions are just a few of the services Lock offers at SEVEN. Some of his Charleston clients include GRITBOX Fitness, J. Stark,
Holy City Brewing, Huriyali, Freehouse Brewery, Baker & Brewer, The CODFather, Chubby Fish, Kwei Fei and many more.

Lock is also the founder of Pints & Canvas, a traveling pop-up creative workshop that seeks to bring out a person’s hidden creative side through art-making gathering over a few drinks. In 2016, he was one of five artists invited to participate in the inaugural Create, Erase, Repeat, produced by the Charleston ArtsFestival. In 2018, Charleston City Paper featured Lock as one of the six artists who has changed the Charleston landscape through murals and hand-painted signage. Also in 2018, the Charleston Pecha Kucha 28 event asked Lock to present his “YOURDAY : Redefining a birthday” speech. Lock also speaks to local high schools and colleges to inspire the youth and share ways to turn your passion into a career.
