Redux Contemporary Art Center (REDUX) is a nonprofit organization committed to fostering creativity and the cultivation of contemporary art through diverse exhibitions, affordable studio space for visual artists, meaningful education and outreach programs, and a multidisciplinary approach to the dialogue between artists and their audiences.

Live Bidding Available Now

If you haven’t heard by now our 2024 Art Auction bidding is LIVE!!! There are so many amazing pieces and bids are already happening.

You can bid at work, from your couch, or while in line at the grocery store till 9:30 PM this Saturday! Whether you are coming to our Main Event on Saturday or participating from afar make sure you are registered to bid. You can do this by buying a ticket for our Main Event or an Online Bidder ticket key and following the directions on this post.

If you are coming to the Main Event you need to set this up BEFOFE walking in the building. And regardless of when/how you are bidding make sure to have your notifications on so you don’t miss out!

Wanderings in the Mermaid’s Palace

Exhibit dates: August 30th – October 19th

This exhibition features large shadowbox diptychs that take the viewer to strange and magical places. Photographs printed on silk organza and layered over another image on paper, canvas, or fabric, sometimes with additional collage material, work together to create a filmy, three-dimensional effect.

Lightning Residency

Exhibit dates: August 30th – October 19th

In this Lightning Residency exhibition, both artists approach landscape, home, and rural upbringing through different perspectives and materials. Canty applies his lens of black and white photography to capture the beauty in abandoned or forgotten spaces. Barnes pieces together quilt patterns, family photos, plaster, and paint in order to navigate time, comfort, and change.
